Carly Gangell established Females Fighting Forward in 2013 following a desire to help women improve their self confidence and self defence capabilities.
Since establishment in 2013, the program has provided many women along with schools, sporting clubs and organisations with essential self defence skills surrounding street safety and awareness. The program has also expanded to include a Muay Thai program which now holds it's very own female fight team.
Carly has been praised as a highly skilled, enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructor that engages, inspires and motivates students. Her ability to teach a range of fun and practical techniques to students of all ages and abilities in a supportive and fun environment has led to women of all ages taking part in her seminars, classes and competition.
Carly has trained in martial arts for 17 years at her father's gym, Boars Martial Arts and has travelled interstate and internationally for both training and competition.
